Transformer Oil Sampling and Testing
Since 1988 JACO has sampled in excess of 750,000 transformers for over sixty utility companies in the United States and Canada. Approximately 150,000 of those units have been surface and underground units. JACO's sampling service includes the sampling, inspection and labeling of every transformer. Our patented sampling procedure enables us to pull samples from energized pole or padmount units. Sample extraction is performed by employing our patented tools that were designed specifically for this application. Resealing is accomplished with our specially coated drive rivet unit. This onsite energized service eliminates the need for outages during sampling and results in a large savings of time and money for the utility.
